SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician

Alternative Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician, to be based in Winthrop Maine.
Requirements of the SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician:
- 1 year of Soldering experience preferred
- Basic Math Skills (adding/subtracting)
- Able to distinguish colors
- Able to enter quality data in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
- Good eye hand coordination and multi-tasking
- Manufacturing environment experience a plus
- Ability to commute to Winthrop Maine Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities of the SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician:
- Responsible for inspecting quality of soldering and ensuring that compliance to IPC standards is maintained.
- Creating a reflow schedule for products
- Recording defect data
- Long periods of sitting under a microscope
- Working as a team where respect for employees and customers is a way of doing business.
