SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician

Alternative Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician, to be based in Winthrop Maine.

Requirements of the SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician:

• 1 year of Soldering experience preferred
• Basic Math Skills (adding/subtracting)
• Able to distinguish colors
• Able to enter quality data in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
• Good eye hand coordination and multi-tasking
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus
• Ability to commute to Winthrop Maine Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities of the SMT Inspection/Touchup Technician:

• Responsible for inspecting quality of soldering and ensuring that compliance to IPC standards is maintained.
• Creating a reflow schedule for products
• Recording defect data
• Long periods of sitting under a microscope
• Working as a team where respect for employees and customers is a way of doing business.
